SOS Italian Setters, an organisation dedicated to rescuing and rehoming neglected, abandoned, and at-risk Setters from Italy, is delighted to announce its official registration as a charity.
This milestone enables the organisation to expand its mission, help more dogs in need, and ensure every Setter it rescues has a safe, caring, and permanent home.
Since its inception, SOS Italian Setters has been a passionate advocate for Setter welfare, partnering with reputable registered charities and animal welfare organisations throughout Italy to provide life-saving rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
Through its collaborations with local animal shelters, veterinary clinics, and specialized transport companies, the organisation guarantees safe, ethical, and legally compliant transfers for these vulnerable dogs to the UK, where they are placed in foster and forever homes.
SOS Italian Setters invites the public to join its mission by supporting this cause through donations, fostering, adopting and/or volunteering.
With its official charity status, every contribution made toward the organisation will directly benefit Setter rescues, giving each one the best chance of a new life.
Any donations will also be able to benefit from the government’s Gift Aid scheme.
