Don’t Use Multiple Skin Care Products
When looking after you skin do not get into the habit of layering on skin product after skin product as many dermatologists see this as a BIG no no!
By layering on multiple skincare products at the same time can be harsh on the skin and can result in blemishes and clogged pores.
Find a skin care product that works for you and get into a routine when using them.
Moisturise Morning & Night
Dermatologists recommend that you moisturise both in the morning after you have washed your face or had a shower and also last thing at night just before you go to bed.
It is always best to avoid heavy fragranced products and make sure you use a more gentle moisturiser for every day use as this will limit irritation.
Also a good tipis try not to touch your face often as this can spread bacteria and cause blemishes as well as increase wrinkles!
Stay Hydrated & Eat Healthy
Drinking plenty of water during the day has been proven to help keep skin healthy as well as eaten foods high in omega 3 which in turn helps your skin to retain moisture.
Eat plenty of green foods too as they can help to oxygenate the skin and also helps with lymphatic drainage which in turn helps to cause less puffiness.
Exfoliate, Exfoliate, Exfoliate!
The average person loses over 50 million skin cells a day!
Without some help they will linger and can leave your skin looking tired.
So use a skin care product that is ph neutral as this will not dry out the skin and exfoliate.
There’s no set time to exfoliate as you can anytime during the day.
But ideally, it is suggested to do it in the morning as the skin repairs itself overnight and leaves dead skin cells on your skin and by exfoliating these will be removed!
Experts tend to suggest that you exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week.
Use Sunscreen
We hear it all the time and it’s one of the best pieces of advice when it comes to looking after your skin.
