Mediterranean Music Festival

Event Dates

The Mediterranean Music Festival presents music linked to different geographic areas, from flamenco to Tibetan chanting and Tuareg music from West Africa. Concerts take place across various stages in the Porto Antico and medieval quarter of Genoa. Since 1992, the festival has promoted the discovery of music and culture on five continents, involving thousands of artists from around the world.

Special productions include national and European premieres, workshops, meetings with the artists, parades and a conference on the music of the world. Further conferences, internships, exhibits, publication of books and initiatives for children complete the programme.
