Studio Paradiso is paradise for all painters.

Studio Paradiso is set high up within a pretty medieval hamlet in the Lunigiana region of Tuscany, overlooking rooftops, rolling hills and mountains.

Our painting holidays are very relaxed and informal, with a maximum of ten guests per week. Our tutors are friendly, enthusiastic and inspiring, whether you are a complete beginner or painting is your life, you will be amazed at the progress you will make at Studio Paradiso.

Accommodation is in an old, beautiful country villa filled with antiques, rooms with a view, a secret garden overflowing with olive, vine and cypress trees and a lovely private swimming pool. We dine out underneath the stars most evenings on delicious home cooked Italian cuisine and flowing wine from the region, as well as sampling one or two nights out in lively local restaurants.

Sketching trips are to the beautiful walled city of Lucca via a train journey through the wonderful Apuane Alps and the Garfagnana and the picturesque Bay of Poets once home to Byron and Shelley with its pastel coloured houses etched into the cliff face. There are optional local trips to the local weekly market and a medieval castle beyond the walls of Fivizzano.
