Ladies in Lavender Abroad is a new business operating from Lunigiana, Northern Tuscany.

Rosie King, the proprietor, is an ex-teacher who has too much energy to retire , and still too many ideas of her own to explore.

She has taught, owned and catered for a two star hotel, owned her own health food shop and loves travelling abroad, latterly mainly in Italy.

Her haven of tranquillity in Italy is in a small village near Casola-in-Lunigiana, called Casciana. There are three double bedrooms for guests, which can be either double or twin-bedded. The sitting room opens onto an attractive terrace and the lounge is spacious and well furnished. The breath-taking view from the terrace of Il Rosmarino is perfect for relaxed breakfasts or candle-lit dinners.

Ladies in Lavender Abroad caters for those guests who through age or circumstance find themselves perhaps wishing they could still travel abroad but now feel unable to do so. Guests will be met by Rosie at Pisa airport and driven to Casciana. From then on its pamper all the way! The deal includes outings to places of interest by private car, meals out, help with simple language requests, - just a careful and affectionate wish to ensure that all guests enjoy their stay and see as much of the beautiful area as possible.

The cost is inclusive of meals, whether taken out or in-house, any entrance fees, and car journeys to places chosen by guests. Rosie drives her own British car which is a comfortable 7-seater, and for which she holds full business insurance.

For anyone in their Lavender years, whether male or female, married or single, Ladies in Lavender offers you complete peace of mind and a restful Italian retreat. See Lucca, Pisa, Carrerra, Cinque Terre accompanied and well cared for. Help is available with shopping for presents or souvenirs, - or alternatively if you prefer to wander away on your own that’s fine too!

Although air fares are the responsibility of individual guests, Rosie is more than willing to reserve your flight for you, and to put you in touch with a reputable holiday insurance company.
